Getting Ready!

This is my first post!

Not much to report quite yet, I'm still getting the hang of working with Blogger. (If anyone has advice/comments/suggestions, pass them along!)

As of July 5th I'll be going down to Philadelphia full time and moving in with Sydney and we will be getting ready for our future ministry in India. Until them I'll be spending some quality time with my family and packing and planing.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~To keep in Prayer~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
  • That I find a Job in Philly
  • That my family doesn't miss me too much ;-)
  • Wisdom and patience as I keep moving forward
  • Sydney's mom broke her toe. *Ouch!* Pray that she heals well.

And I'll close this first post with a bible passage that has encouraged me greatly as I persue the heart of God in missions.

"For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sin against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God."

- 2 Corinthians 4.15-20 (NIV)

Peace,

Katrina Elyse
